Simona has been my Italian teacher for almost two years. Beyond being professional, experienced, flexible, organized, effective, ..., she is also a very caring person and is a lot of fun to be with. Every week I look forward to meeting and talking with her, and one hour always passes too quickly. Besides, her weekly newsletter is simply fantastically packed with songs, books, movies and other specials. My Italian has improved a lot from not only the online lessons and the newsletters but also the large amount of practical and fun materials on her website. I have been a teacher and can truly appreciate the effort and thoughts she puts in. Further, she is able to tackle the subject of grammar with clarity and fun, which is not easy to accomplish. The fact that she's well-read also shines through. Thus Simona has become an anchor in my journey of learning the Italian language and culture. I cannot recommend her more to any student with a similar interest.
Simona non è solo un’insegnante di italiano eccezionale, ma soprattutto è una persona meravigliosa che riesce a spiegare degli argomenti (come la grammatica) molto difficili in modo semplice e piacevole. Parlare con lei è stato sempre come parlare con la migliore amica. Lei è paziente, allegra e sempre positiva verso le nuove sfide. Grazie a lei il mio livello di italiano è migliorato notevolmente, ma ho anche iniziato a credere in me stessa, nelle mie capacità. Con il suo sostegno e grazie alla nostra collaborazione e alla motivazione che mi dava ogni lezione, ho superato l'esame CILS al livello C1. Questo è stato un enorme successo per me e sono certa che senza l'aiuto di Simona, non ce l'avrei fatta. Auguro a tutti una maestra come Simona!
